Putin’s most ambitious and ruthless supporter in Chechnya appears to be spinning out of control, with deadly consequences.
MOSCOW — Earlier this month, the leader of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, informed his more than one million followers on social networks that he had become “the happiest man in this land.” Something had come to pass that he never could have dreamed of, he said. He had had a transfusion, he said, from a descendant of the Prophet Mohammed, so now he has the Prophet’s blood flowing through his veins.
In a not-for-attribution conversation last week, a Russian government official told The Daily Beast that the blood transfusion was seen in Moscow, as “something totally insane and wild,” but that it hardly the worst of the bad news about Kadyrov.
The Russian opposition has taken to accusing the Chechen leader, publicly, of murder.

If you are crazy, but people do not treat you as crazy through fear or bad philosophy, you can even fool yourself.
Between Obama, Clinton or Kayrov, I would rather spend time with Kadyrov. It might be more dangerous but less deceitful.
It's easy to see why he's the favorite. A loonie on a chain he can use to scare the Chechens.
For non-Whabbist Muslims, the "bloodline" of Mohammed is important.
Having the blood of one of Mohammed' s kin, flowing in your veins, even if it is just a transfusion, is a big deal.
Just think how the "blood" of Christ is ritualized.
Better Kadyrov than Tyahnybok, Bandar Bush, Sultan Erdogan, or Creepy Steve Harper for that matter.
And that Nuland woman... makes me feel like I have bugs crawling all over me when I see her. Jason "Uncle Fester" Kenney too.
Kadyrov is just a Chechen New Russian living the dream basically. If New Russians were Muslim hell yeah they'd try to get Mohammed's blood into their veins. I can see why people in the comments here like him too though, he has a certain... authenticity and immediacy that most Western politicians utterly lack. In my view it's just two different flavours of vile, though.

It's not really a case of liking him, or not liking him.
It's more a case of utter exhaustion with the MSM's continual reduction of complex people and complex issues into Stanley Snead Cartoon Villians and the fact that we have to refer to "other sources" if we want to read actual intelligent, insightful discussions of serious World Issues.
It's just sad that we have to read "the enemy's" media via google translate to avoid the BS.
